Hi My father worked at The Shields Engineering & Dry Dock Co. Ltd between 8th January 1945 - 25th November 1946 as an Apprentice Marine Fitter before serving in the Merchant Navy. Can anyone tell me anything about the said company and are records of such apprenterships recorded?
