All the maps are scanned from originals and shared online by the owners of these maps - they are *your* maps! If you have any suitable old maps and would like to share a scan with fellow researchers, then I would be happy to put them on the website. Just email me off-list. This is how the site started back in March 2003 - with over 50,000 hits since then - so I must be doing something right. Remember - they are *free* to download, for personal research purposes - please don't abuse the generosity of others.
