Robert BROWN born 1872 in Gateshead married 1896 to Mary RUTHERFORD born 1872 Gateshead. Robert's parents were Matthew and Mary BROWN (formerly) BRAMWELL. both born Gateshead Parents of Matthew were William and Margaret BROWN (formerly CLARK) William was a mariner he appears to have died before 1841, Margaret married Thomas FAWCETT Mary RUTHERFORD'S parents were Thomas and Frances RUTHERFORD (formerly FRENCH) Parents of Thomas were Henry and Sarah RUTHERFORD (formerly SMITH) Then we have the parents of Henry were Francis and Mary RUTHERFORD (formerly POTTS) Best wishes to all Pat
