I have found that there is a second Elswick in Lancashire ; can any lister tell me the correct email address to join the Lancashire list as it is possible that William John BELL and Mary EVANS were married there and not in Durham. I am looking for a marriage ; William John BELL to Mary EVANS prior to emigrating to N.S.W. before 1840. William is believed to have lived on "Elswick" farm near Sydney N.S.W. which was possibly named after Elswick, Durham. No other relevent information I am afraid.
