Hi, i hope i am now with the right list, if not i apologise in advacnce. I used to be on a list but that was a while ago now. Anyway, after many years of looking for my g grandfather I am still looking unfortunately. I would so appreciate any help. No one seems to be able to find him although several have looked. Anybody any ideas why that should be? His name is Thomas Kavanagh born 9.4.1865 in Co Wicklow and married in Durham on 9.4. 1894. I have both birth and marriage certificates but - no one can find where he died -how is that possible? His wife lived on until 1946 and was Margaret Kavanagh, nee Mc Coy born in Durham. They had two children Catherine Bridget in 1896 and John Thomas born 1899 died 1900. Any help would be fantastic. How can a person not be found? I see they married at Brooms whilst both parties were living at Dipton. Did they remain in that district and where did Margaret die? Hi There is a death of a Thomas Kavanagh on FreeBMD in 1910. He is aged 345 which ties in with your given birthdate. Perhaps that is he? Reference 10a 126 Auckland March qtr 1910.
