Hi Janet, It depends on the time frame you need to look at but try this. http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/NBL/DeathNotices/ It is a transcription of the Obits from the Newcastle Evening Chronicle, for a certain span of years, and is linked to the Genuki pages for Northumberland. The obits are not only for the Newcastle area but all from other parts of NBL and from County Durham too, with one or two farther afield thrown in for good measure too. You might be lucky and find something belonging to you.
