I'm busy trying to research my CURRY  family line and found what could possibly be my g g g grandfather's baptism in the Bishop's Transcripts on the Family Search Pilot Site. On page 164 of the Chester-Le-Street records 1765-1821 there is a baptism for Luke CURRY,  parents John CURRY and Mary from what looks like Battis Green.  I know of Byers Green but wonder if anyone can tell me if there was/is a Battis Green as I can't find it on any maps.   Daphne Hughes Worcestershire     www.familytreeforum.com
