Greetings from Cardiff. I am still looking for my Elusive Great,Great,Grandfather in the 1851 census. I have him in the 1861,71,81,91,and 1901 in Hubberston,Milford Haven West Wales. He was William Mckinley COULTHARD,who according to the 1871-1901 censuses he was listed as being born in Newcastle upon Tyne. The 1861 list's "Scotland"as his birthplace. The year? I hazzard a guess as to about 1823 to 1831.He was the son of William COULTHARD. [an "Engineer"in 1853]Mother's name unknown. He was married at Gateshead co;Durham in 1853 to Martha EVANS,[I have their Marriage Certificate]who born 1831 at Milford Haven. Martha is a missing girl too in the 1851. Although her Parents Henry & Jane EVANS are at Willington Quay,Northumberland in 1851.Henry was a "Customs Officer"in 1851. This Place was where William Mckinley COULTHARD and his young Wife Martha had their first child,William COULTHARD born in 1854.[information from his Birth Certificate] William Mckinley COULTHARD was a "Joiner"By Trade. He died on the 1st;of October 1906 aged 83 at Milford haven. I was born 40 years and one day later in Canton,Cardiff. Cheers,Graham. From:- Graham WILLIAMS of Canton,Cardiff. Glam;FHS;#551.
