Hello list Thanks to Durham Records Online I have finally found a lost ancestor. His baptism is recorded in 1839 at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Barnard Castle. It says that he is of the Union Poor House. Where would I find any information on this Poor House, and where was it located.? Many thanks Vicki
