Hello again First question Could SKS advise at to whether they consider that I am posting this to the correct list to get some assistance on my particular inquiry - or - is there another North East list that should be contacted in this case ? all advice much appreciated -- John I have all the info I need for the moment on my relative " John Charles Pascoe " born Cleator Moor to Cornish parents - I have all birth and Census info , inclusive , right upto and including the 1911 census . John Charles born Cleator Moor Cumberland 1881 . For the period after 1901 It has proven to be difficult to get more information on this man from such places as FreeBMd and Emigration records etc . However - I feel I just may have found him in the 1911 census -living as Charles Pascoe a Lodger of one Richard Brown at 53 Maple Street , South Moor , Stanley . Occupation Mine surface labourer I also noted that there was also a Charles Pascoe whom married an Easington Lass - Sarah Whitmore in 1918 but I now know sadly that he was not my man ! He was in fact ,the son of One William Henry Pascoe instead and as such is not a relative. II do not know if John Charles ever married or --where when and how he died - Does anyone on this list know the area shown as South Moor Stanley ? if so - what mine would he probably have worked at ? what churches were nearby ? What are the local cemeteries ? etc I would be grateful for any and all assistance . Regards -- John
