Hi John I suspect that the simple truth of the matter is that no-one had found anything to add to your research, although its useful to know what data has been checked most people do not post if they do not find anything I have looked at Ancestry for any sign and find little to add, a possible John C PASCOE 155085 who was a sapper on the Royal Engineers Sadly the service records on Ancestry are only up to N, so PASCOE has yet to be released, given that only around a third of service records survived WW2 there is a slim chance they survived, if it is your man and his documents have survive it may give next of kin etc Freebmd is a work in progress post 1911 so hard to say yet if there might be a marriage for him, again it would be difficult to say if any John PASCOEs found are yours, perhaps a trawl through the deaths on a site with the GRO images may get some result Of course if he left these shores it may not :-( Have you tried the USA, Canada or Australia?
