HI, Im researching the Allen family.Any help is appreciated. I have a ROBERT ALLEN who according to the 1841 census was 45 years old ( c 1796). He was living in Stockton on tees in 1841 working as a Butcher living with his second wife Jane and son Robert Allen Junior ( c 1833).Census has Robert allen as being born in the county of Durham. I am trying to locate When and Where Robert Allen was born. The marriage to Jane reveals nothing apart from both were widows and wed in 1832 Stockton . Robert died in 1848 before the next census . However the baptism of Robert Allen junior says Robert Allen junior was bapt. 18 March 1832 St. ST thomas Church, Stockton, 3rd son of Robert Allen (butcher) and Jane. Now Robert allen was married before to an Elizabeth , they we in Stockton in 1816 .I have been unable to find a death for her she must have died pre 1832 in Stockton , i have found the two sons he had to her had but am curious as to when she died also where Robert Allen ( senior )was born.also Robert Allen junior b 1833 , where he was in 1851??
