Hi Liz, It's not much, but I have Elizabeth Farraday of South Shields who married John Vinton, June qtr 1856, S Shields vol 10a p633. John was a sea captain who led an eventful life and died tragically. One of their children, Mary Ann Farraday Vinton, married into my Elrington family. If you can fill in any more information about Elizabeth and her family, I'd be delighted. I have quite a lot of background on John. Best wishes, Ian -----Original Message----- From: eng-durham-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:eng-durham-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of . Durham interests lie in South Shields with the following families: MACK, FARRADAY, FARADAY, WOOD, ALLEN I am at the moment desperately searching for a picture or any information on a building in South Shields from the early 1900's. It was called Station House and was at the goods station near the junction between Station Road and Coronation Street (near Mill Dam). If anyone can help me with this I would be extremely grateful. Many thanks Liz ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to ENG-DURHAM-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
