Hi All: I have come across a census entry on Ancestry for Mary Pemberton in 1851. It has her birth listed as being in Windleton, County Durham. The transscription definitely says Windleton and after looking at the original page, I must admit that's what it looks like. I have not been able to find a reference to where Windleton might be. Probably WINLATON - a few miles west of Newcastle on the south side of the Tyne Formerly in the parish of Ryton. It could be Windlestone.
