Hello all, It is some time since I posted here but a read the list avidly. I have just obtained the marriage cert of my G grandfather John William Collins, he married Isobel Ann Wright on 25 May 1896. His residence at the time of marriage was 12 Northumberland Place, Sunderland. Could anyone tell me where in Sunderland this was as I am unable to find it on any modern maps? Isobel, my G grandmother lived at 3 Long Bank at the time. At various times she has been listed a living at 3 Bowes Quay and 3 Low Quay. Is it possible that these were all the same place?
