Hello I wonder if someone can help solve a problem I have concerning William Wigham Rackstraw. My grandfather had a brother named William Wigham Rackstraw who was born in 1910 but died soon afterwards. However there was another William Wigham Rackstraw born in 1906 and was in killed at Hylton Colliery Coal Mine 1959 aged 53. Can anybody help me to find out who this other William was. He is not a brother of my grandfather but perhaps a cousin. The details I have are as follows: 1. William Wigham Rackstraw - born 4 Jan 1910 Sunderland died as a baby, son of James Lincoln Rackstraw and Elizabeth Gibson. He is my grandfather's brother. refer: Births March 1910 William Wigham Rackstraw Sunderland 10a 696 2 William Wigham Rackstraw - born about 1906, killed at Hylton Colliery Coal Mine 1959 aged 53. refer: Births June 1906 - William Wigham Rackstraw Sunderland 10a 742 Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you Tony Rackstraw
-----Original Message----- From: trenoweth Subject: [SUNDERLAND] William Wigham Rackstraw Hi Tony Not sure how far I can help but I am researching the LINCOLN surname in Sunderland. I have today collected a copy of a baptism record for Mary Jane LINCOLN dated 29 Oct 1883 and her parents were William Wigham Rackstraw & Mary Jane LINCOLN. Mary Jane was the daughter of James LINCOLN & Jean Grace Davie. Mary also had a sister named Agnes who married John Dinsdale Rackstraw. I have further information on RACKSTRAW. Maybe best if you contact me direct. Cheers Sue Sunderland
