I have a letter written in 1918 to my g'mother in Canada from her brother in Sunderland - his name Albert Bristow. The return address on the letter was 18 John St, Hylton, Sunderland. I'm not sure how to go about finding info on him...does anyone have any suggestions? He mentioned a wife and daughter but no names. He stayed in Engl. but my g'mother and her sisters were sent to Canada as home children. The letter is the only clue we have since most of the family has passed on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Linda S.
