Hi Liz Re McLeod family this may gel up with your research its not much but here goes. In the 1891 census checks on my family the Allan's this turned up, Mary Jane McLeod Aged 16 Gr Daughter working as a servant, and living at 14 Eden Street Bishopwearmouth Sunderland, now in my family there was two girls Elizabeth Allan Aged 25 Margaret Allan Aged 20 so it does not seem likely ether would be the Mother of Mary, maybe you have some other info, anyway at least you my be able to write one family from your list.
