I am new to list and want to inquire whether there are any Mayhews in the area. My ggrandmaother was Eleanor Mayhew and I believe her father and mother were William and Isabel. My ggreatgrandmother married a Edwin Morris Jordan from Wales when they met in the U.S.A around 1880. Their children were Margaret, Edwin, William, Kate, Isabel. In a book written by their daughter Isabel when she was around 90, she states that her father was from Cardiff Wales, and her mother was from Sunderland, England.
