I am trying to find information about: John Locke (born 1851) and wife Ellen (born 1852) who died after 1901 in Sunderland. He was born in Hampshire and She in Essex. I have an address from 1901 census which was 59, Tatham Street,Sunderland . He was a professional snooker player so I am wondering if any local papers carried reports of matches or if his name appears in any halls, pubs etc. They had several children Minnie, Laura, Arthur, Ethel, Nellie, Rose, Mabel,Amy, Lillian and Alec (Alexander). Alec was a great grandfather so we know about him but little of the others. So if any one recognises any of these names and has any information I would love to hear from them.
