    2. Malcolm Thanks to a number of folks on the list, I found St Lukes Road where my grandfather lived in 1901 (he was 8), and it is right next to Pallion Rd., so it might be the same Alf. Did your Alf have a brother Cuthbert? Did he ever mention George Paxton who lived in Glasgow, who was his best friend?     3. Hi Edward and list, Is St Lukes Rd. not a continuation of Pallion Rd. instead of being next to it? (I was under the impression it was),then I think it became Barnes Re my Alf BELL, unfortunately I was only about 4-8 years old when I saw him, so don't know anything about him, the only thing I do know is, that his wife's name was Ethel/Ethal(nee HOME) and that they had 2 daughters, Thelma and Vera.
