Did your Alf have a brother Cuthbert? Did he ever mention George Paxton who lived in Glasgow, who was his best friend? Hi Edward and list, Is St Lukes Rd. not a continuation of Pallion Rd. instead of being next to it? (I was under the impression it was),then I think it became Barnes Re my Alf BELL, unfortunately I was only about 4-8 years old when I saw him, so don't know anything about him, the only thing I do know is, that his wife's name was Ethel/Ethal(nee HOME) and that they had 2 daughters, Thelma and Vera.
