I have recently been given my grandfather's photos, and in these are a number of his great friend Alf BELL and his family including his brother Cuthbert and his mother, with possibly some other members of their family. I'm trying to separate out Alf's family from my own, as there are a number of photos of both of the families together, and I just wondered whether anyone on the list is searching for this family. Hi Edward and list, Re BELL, I had a gt'uncle named Alf BELL, his wife's was Ethal (nee HOME) (my side) and they lived on Pallion Rd, Sunderland, they would have been born in the late 1800's. I wonder if this is the same person or was/is BELL a popular name like mine? Unfortunately I have no other info., So, would be grateful if you or anyone can assist.
