hello everyone. I am new to the list and my surname interests are BUTLER and SMILES both families were in the area of Southwick. I have information from the 1901 census and from birth certificates identifying that houses No 1 and No 6 Sunderland Road, Southwick were occupied by these families. Hi Maxine Sunderland Road, Southwick appears on the 1891 census without any numbers. The reference is RG12/4147 Folios 21-22. Unfortunately, there weren't any Butlers or Smiles in the 8 houses shown as Sunderland Road, Southwick. Do you have any first names and ages to go with the surnames? Regards Alison
