Hello All I am just wondering about the following, while search for my Gt,Gt,Grandfather who name is John Robson who says on the 1861 Census he was born in Bishopwearmouth I checked the Sunderland Birth Reistrations and found that there was not a single John Robson Birth Registered in Sunderland during the years of 1839 and 1840 and one in 1838 and one entry in 1841 both of which are not my line. With John Robson being such a common name in this area is it possible that some birth registrations although recorded have bee missed off the St Catherines Index. Regards Allan Robson
