Publishing of the history of Sunderland to 1719 was listed as 2004, is this the one referred to below - has anything happened yet. He is hoping that the database may be completed and put online to coincide with the Victoria County History launch of the History of Sunderland. If you send him written enquiries with a SAE, he will sweep his database. There is no search fee but donations to cover administration costs will be appreciated. I will send his address to anyone interested, as I am reluctant to put it on the list without his permission..
