As you are all so knowledgeable about Bishopwearmouth, I wonder if I can now ask everyone's advice about how to find birth details for my WILLIAM DUGDALE around 1828. The earliest address I have for him was in 1855 at Exhibition Terrace, Hillfield, Bishopwearmouth. I think his parents are JOHN and ESTHER Dugdale who married in 1821 (I found their marriage on Genuki at St Peters, Monkwearmouth). WILLIAM married ISABELLA SMITH but I can't find their marriage on 1837online or the IGI, and Sunderland Local Studies Centre couldn't help me.
