109 years ago today, in 1896, my Father (Howard Gourley Allison) was born at 4 Campbell Terrace in Fulwell. Last year, I went in search of this address in the seaburn area but it seems that Campbell Terrace no longer exists - since when, I don't know. Does anyone recall this street, and/or can they point me to an old map that might show it? What sort of area was Campbell Terrace? Might number four have been a maternity home? The address is unknown to me in any other context. Any clues please? Thanks in anticipation, Clifford Allison
