Clifford, Just a few thoughts - In a response to one of your earlier messages to the Northumbria list I see a reference to "Campbell Terrace, Fulwell Road". Perhaps Campbell Terrace was a building, not a street. And perhaps you should be searching Roker rather than Seaburn. Have you looked at all the available trade directories etc for the period? http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/ncl/TradeDir3.html shows a pretty fair list of library holdings in the region which might help? Good luck Tim Sewell. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Clifford Allison" <clifford-allison@supanet.com> To: <ENG-DUR-SUNDERLAND-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 04, 2005 4:18 AM Subject: [genealogy] [SUNDERLAND] Campbell Terrace, Fulwell > 109 years ago today, in 1896, my Father (Howard Gourley Allison) was born at > 4 Campbell Terrace in Fulwell. > > > > Last year, I went in search of this address in the seaburn area but it seems > that Campbell Terrace no longer exists - since when, I don't know. > > > > Does anyone recall this street, and/or can they point me to an old map that > might show it?
