Hi It has been a few years since I did research, this was mainly on Chesire adn Lancs lists. So Hi My Name is Lynn and I am helping my partner trace his family history. The surnames I am interested in: Orr - Thomas, Francis Bulger, Margaret and siblings etc. Francis Bulder Orr married Nancy Cowan Nicholson- Annie - Annie married a James Cowan around 1907 in Sunderland, Cowan, James, Nancy his daughter. King _ charles edward King b 1931 and his fatherJohn Geroge King who married Elizabeth Murdock. They may have been from Ireland. I have tried searching the Durham site and then I lost where I was, it was free and gave good details. I searched, free BDM, Family search ( and found no names- maybe I did it wrong) I tried the 1881 census, but because I dont have exact dates this is not possible. 1901 censu, but cant afford the costs, I had a decoder but it has a run time error and think its way too old now. I had the first set of British vital records, but again difficult as I really dont have great details. I beleive they were all born and married in or around Sunderland.
