    1. Re Morrison
    2. Anne Ambrose
    3. Not sure if our Morrison family would link as the Alexander Morrison I am talking about was the only one from his line that I am aware of who came to England. Alexander Morrison was b 5 April 1873 in Macduff Banffshire Scotland. His parents were Alexander Morrison b 1832 in Gamrie Banffshire m Elspet Michie 1858 there were 11 children (I have all their births). The above Alexander b 1832 parents were John Morrison b 12 May 1792 m Jean Brodie1825 (second wife) there were 6 children that I know of John Morrison b 1792 parents were John Morrison b 11 December 1762 m Anne davidson 1788 they had 3 children that I know of John Morrison b 1762 parents were James Morrison b abt 1735 m Margaret Brebner abt 1760 I do have a fair bit of information on some of the children of all of the above and am aware that some moved to Aberdeenshire and in fact some still live there. Others migrated to Canada and I have a litle bit of information there. A bit of intersting information is that my father Mathew Wright Downey Morrison worked in the shipbuilding trade before he became an overhead crane driver. So maybe shipbuilding was in the Morrison blood. If anyone can link to this tree I would love to hear from you.
