For this page there are five people listed, instead of the normal four, and apart from Thomas William the others are in Chester le Street, this entry is wrong because on the original image it is Sunderland 10a 984. Michael Foster has written two books on the marriage records of England and Wales titled 'A comedy of Errors'. Although covering 1837-1899 similar errors could occur in other years He states that Volume numbers were often copied wrongly and page numbers were a major problem.
