Dear Stan, Thank you for the information about listed buildings in Sunderland http://www.sunderland.gov.uk/pages/ListedBuildings/lbnewsearch.asp The photograph at 920-1/12/107 shows the premises at 170, 171, and 173 High Street West and it is just possible to see the distinctive features of Lambton's Bank (Number 176 High Street West ) on the right hand edge. The narrative that accompanies the photograph says that Number 172 was subsumed into Number 173, which was refronted late 19th C. Do you have any information or photographs to indicate what happened to the premises at 175 High Street West? According to Ward's Directory of Sunderland (1893-4), my ancestor John Grace WOODBRIDGE was a furniture dealer at this address. kind regards, Colin
