First Post on this forum We are trying to find some info on Evelyn Olive Quayle, who was my wife's maternal Grandmother, and also on Evelyn's parents. Family info says that Evelyn came from IoM and that her father was John J Quayle but looking at the 1901 Census the only Evelyn Quayle shows a girl of 3 years age, born in Durham Garvesland, Admin County: Sunderland, Civil Parish: Sunderland. Family info again says that she was born on 5th September 1898 which fits with the age on the census. Her marriage certificate shows her marrying David Webster in Wavertree, Liverpool on 23rd December 1922 - also shows her father John Quayle, Painter, deceased at that time. Evelyn died in Liverpool 22nd July 1961. I can't find any info in the IoM on Evelyn and there are many John Quayle's. Any info or suggestions greatly appreciated.
