Stan the allotments were on the opposite side of the road to Brian Mills -some have now been taken for a new ring road I think anyone walking to Villiers Street etc may have gone the 'back way ' along what was The Parade but is now nearly all Thompson's the builders Then there is still a pathway of sorts near Gideon's pub ,used to be the Whitehouse that leads towards Tatham Street -I know there is part of an old stone wall there so maybe it was a pathway years ago Making myself homesick now !!
