Deptford House is the home of James and Anne Laing with four servants. Deptford Hall is in multiple occupation with five families, three shipwrights and two labourers. Deptford Hall is marked on the 1857 map, it is 800 yards to the west of Deptford House, about halfway between Lisburn Terrace and the River.
