Hi, Listers: A last-line question was whether there is available a picture of the Sans Street Mission. I, too, would like to find such a picture, especially of the interior, since my parents were married there in 1919. A posting earlier this year mentioned the names of the several cinemas that were later housed in the chapel. I have the gavel or mallet (not sure what such things are called) that was used to lay 'the Foundation Stones (plural) of the New Sans Street Mission Halls (plural), Aug 20th 1902.' Does anyone know whether the inscription is referring to new halls added to an old mission, or to the halls of a new mission? Took my winter tires off last week.
