    3. Hi David, The Chapel was between Crescent Row and Back Crescent Row so will be the same one. It last appears on the 1938-1950 map at http://gis.durham.gov.uk/website/interMAP/viewer.htm In the directories it is always called the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, right up to 1914, there is no mention of the Salvation Army. It does not appear in the 1858 Directory, so was probably built after that. There were two chapels on Crescent Row, a United Methodist Free Chapel and the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel. If you go to http://gis.durham.gov.uk/website/interMAP/viewer.htm and put the coordinates 438860, 557690 into 'search' it will centre the map on the location.
