    3. Hello Marie, Thank you for the confirmation. According the article mentioned, the origins of the coble date back to the Viking long ships that brought raiders to the North East coast. The similarities can be seen in the sleek planked design, even though modified over the years. That being accepted, it would be a general rather than specific location along the coast.
