In 1891 the balance of the Victoria Hall Disaster Fund, amounting to £4,000, was, with other funds obtained by subscription, handed to the trustees of the infirmary, to purchase a house at Harrogate, which was altered and enlarged to form a convalescent home in connection with the infirmary.
