The first meeting of the Committee was held on Thursday June 21st 1883, in the Police Court East Cross Street. Smith, G. Douglass, R. Richards, W.H. Dixon, J. Coates, Dr. Harris, Dr. J.W. Beattie, Dr. Lambert, Dr. W.B. Ferguson, Dr. Morgan, Dr. Bolton, Dr. Waterston, Capt. Pinkey, Messrs. Mark Harmon, J.R.
