    3. I remember the "Villa" pop factory. It was at the corner of Wilson Street?(or the next street) and Hylton Road. Wilson Street was between Pallion Road and Rutland Street, opposite what is now part of the hospital and what was then the Cottage Homes. From the street you could see part of the bottling line and see the loading bays for the delivery lorries. I believe you could buy pop directly from the factory.
