Alan, You posted in October;    "Rob - there is a note on the website for St. Benet's Church, Monkwearmouth that says: "April 1st 1916 a Zeppelin raid caused a number of casualties in the area, blew out most of the windows in the Church, School and Monestry and damaged the doors."
