Hello Pat Many thanks for your input which I will certainly follow up, I am still unsure if the name of ( Quintame ~ Quaintance ~ Quintence ) is a variation or typo for Quinton or Quainton, your suggestion that it these are close to Bryanston may prove the key. but the Ibberton parish ref is confusing, but I will keep trying.
