I have the following from Brian Brassett's transcript of the Holne parish records: 1787 12 Jun Easterbrook Elias and Clogg Elizabeth (by Banns) witnesses: James Tolchard Daniel Tolchard. Does anyone have access to the originals (or microfiche of) and could look up this entry to find if there is any other information recorded, particularly about Elias. I am unable to visit Devon for some time and have hit a brick wall trying to identify which Elias baptism record matches. There are two good possibilities in Holne, and possibly other parishes (it was a common name in this area and time).
