Hello listers, I am hoping someone can help me with one of my ancestors where I have hit the proverbial brick wall. William Wood married Joan Phillips on 02 May 1739 in Malborough. He was buried in Malborough 02 Jan 1784. His five children were all born in Malborough - as were many of their descendants (including my father!) The problem is that I cannot find whether he was born in Malborough as I cannot find a baptism record Ray Osborn has checked the marriage register for 1739 but there are no clues there. It is possible that William either came from Malborough and was not baptised or, alternatively, came from another parish. Can anyone throw any light on this for me? Many thanks, Tony
