Trying to find marriage record for gg grandparents Edward Saunders Clark and Ann Mitchelmore/Mitchemore. I believe they were married in either 1851-52 in Devon. The General Record Office indexes do not have entries for them, and no mention in the Churchstow, Loddiswell, Kingsbridge and Dodbrooke Parish Registers. Both Edward and Ann were listed as unmarried in the 1851 census, he at Loddiswell, she at Churchstow. Three children were born to them at Churchstow; Elizabeth Clark 1852, William Clark 1854, Henry Clark 1855. Ann Mitchelmore was born at Churchstow in 1827, to William Mitchelmore and Mary Hill. She died at Dodbrooke in April, 1859. Edward S. Clark, thought to be the Edward Clark born at Batson, Malborough Parish, to Elizabeth Clark in 1831. He remarried at Sydney, Australia in October, 1859. In 1865/66 he went over to Hokitika, New Zealand, and died at Dannevirke, NZ in 1900. I would be grateful for any information or advice.
