    3. Jack, Thanks for your reply. My reference to Margery HANNAFORD 1767, Thurlestone 1847, South Milton, came from a tree supplied by the Lidstone Family History Society, of which I am now a member. With no access to the PRs I have no way of verifying most of the information supplied, but find that, having processed the trees, I am now richer by something in the order of 370 putative relatives. Perhaps there is a MI for Margery giving her age at death. The marriage entry DID say she was a spinster from Thurlestone. My LFHS records also indicate that her 12 children were born 1785-1802. Was there an entry i wonder for Betsy abt 1800? And thank you for the marriage details. I have none of the witness names, apart from a fair collection of Jane LIDSTONEs (including the sister of William, b 1800 and who married a Nicholas CRIMP in Plymouth in 1822). It would be less confusing if these South Hams families were not so devoted to intermarriage. Better too if they were a little more imaginative when it came to given names. However, flushed with the euphoria of having found so many LIDSTONEs I plan to post the names of all the spouses that have married with my Devon lot. There could well be someone out there who will recognise a name or two. Regards Kate Boyce >Kate, > >Thanks for the email. > >I don't know the relationship either.
