Courtney, I think that Selina STEER was a cousin of mine, but cannot be certain. Do you have any further details of her marriage? My Selina was born in South Milton, Devon in the first quarter of 1842 (GRO IX 396). She appears in both the 1851 and 1861 censuses living in South Milton village with her parents. But I have not found her in 1871 and suspect that she had either married or moved away from the South Hams. I have checked the GRO book from which the Free BDM entries are taken and that records Josins MOORE rather than Josiah. I suspect that the original entry in the parish register may well be Josias.
