I have a John Dinnis born 1743 probably at Hallwell, died at Hallwell 1822. He married Elizabeth (unknown) of Stanborough. Their son, Edward, was born circa 1786. He married Sarah Baker in Blackawton 4 April 1809. Sarah died and was buried in Blackawton in 1829. Edward and his children appear in the 1841 census of Blackawton but Edward doesn't appear in the 1851 census. Ray Osborn has a death for Edward Dinnis in Kingsbridge in March of 1848 and feels he probably was buried in the parish of his birth rather than his death. Does anyone have any information about John, Elizabeth or Edward Dinnis/Dennis? Thanks Peggy Henderson pjh44@comcast.net
