Arthur, Does your ADAMS information include anything on the Caleb GILLARD who married Mary ADAMS? They married on 27.8.1799 in West Alvington and were my 3x great grandparents. The Bezer was a ship of 86 tons and was registered in Dartmouth. It was owned in 1863 by ADAMS, afraid that I don't have a forename. These entries are from the records in DRO of crew lists for ships registered in Devon ports Bezer 8375 - ref. 1976/Bezer/8375 - date: 1863 master: STURE, registered port: Dartmouth, Devon tonnage: 86 owner: ADAMS Gertrude (67270) - ref. 1976/Gertrude/67270 - date: 1873-1874 master STURE registered port: Salcombe, Devon tonnage 207 owner: BENNETT Zora (47903) - ref. 1976/Zora/47903 - date: 1868 master STURE registered port: Salcombe, Devon tonnage: 197 owner ADAMS Regards, Jack Steer ----- Original Message ----- From: "Arthur French" <a.french@eclipse.co.uk> To: <ENG-DEV-SOUTHHAMS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, August 11, 2006 6:19 PM Subject: [SOUTHHAMS] ADAMS Mysteries >I wrote to DEVON-L on Aug 2 about my wife's great-grandpa John ADAMS > (b.
